  • to taste salt and pepper Freshly ground pepper enhances flavor.
  • Oil spray for air frying A light spray will achieve a crispy exterior.

Preparation

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 190°C (375°F).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled mashed potatoes, grated cheese, breadcrumbs, flour, egg (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Take a scoop of the mixture and roll it into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.

Cooking

  • Place the balls gently in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with oil.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve the crispy balls hot as a snack or appetizer.

Notes
